GM Community - Frequently Asked Questions

Some answers to frequently asked questions about Gordon Marvil's GM Community program.

GM Community is the GordonMarvil (GM) Group's community support program. GM At Home Saver (AHS) and program partner TelecomGM have teamed up to offer community organisations a way to boost much needed funds by offering to rebate 10% of AHS memberships and 3% of TelecomGM call costs by the community organisations AHS members back to them.
Whilst there are Terms & Conditions the only real catch is that, once you have been accepted to GM Community, a minimum of 10 members must sign up to AHS using your promotion code in order for GM Community to start rebating you. A minimum of 30 AHS members must be utilising Telecom GM before this component can begin to be rebated.
This is for two reasons.
  1. the minimum numbers ensure that the dollar value of rebates is worthwhile; and
  2. the administration required to the processes and set up the rebates.
Yes. As soon as you reach 10 AHS members, and 30 Telecom GM customers who have signed up using your promotion code you will get the percentage rebate for them and every other AHS member and Telecom GM customer who signs up using your promotion code.
If this occurs the rebate will be forwarded to one of our nominated charities. Currently these are Beyond Blue and Parkinson's Victoria.
For AHS memberships it is 10% of the membership - for example 10% of $99 equals $9.
For Telecom GM it is 3% of eligible charges - for example the customer spends $100 in an eligible rebate month then it is 3% of $100 or $3.
For Telecom GM the eligible rebate commences in the billing month when 30 customers has been reached.
For example, in December you have 15 eligible customers, 20 in January and then 30 in February. The rebate is then paid for February and each month that there are 30 or more customers until the end of the 12 month organisation membership.
No rebate is paid for December or January.
AHS members receive exclusive discounts on gas and electricity, home phone and mobile connections. Other, area dependant exclusive deals, include home security, financial planning and personal insurances, and accounting.
Other services will be offered as they are added to the program.

You will be given a promotion code which must be entered on all applications.
Once accepted to GM Community we will need your club bank details for transfer. Once you have 50 signups, or second month from GM Community acceptance, you will receive your rebate into your nominated account on the 25th of each month.
Please allow up to 14 days to receive a response.
12 Months. Should you wish to receive a further 12 month sponsorship you will need to reapply.
Should you be declined acceptance to GM Community you will need to wait 6 months before reapplying.
